A bloody event occurred Wednesday night when a Metro Mass Transit bus crashed into a cargo truck loaded with tomatoes, causing a bloody accident that has led to 63 deaths (so far) and left many others injured.
The accident occurred around the Kintampo waterfalls during the MMT bus’ journey from Kintampo to Tamale. The bus developed a brake fault, but the driver decided to continue despite being unable to fix it.
The horrific crash has left the country numb with shock, with several high profile leades expressing their condolences.
Joy News has gotten hold of a video shot in the aftermath of the scene, showing the two mangled vehicles.
