Tyra Banks and her husband, Erik Asla, recently welcomed their first child together via surrogate, to the delight of the celebrity couple.
Banks, 42, had struggled with fertility issues in the past, making the arrival of the baby more poignant.
Now a couple of weeks old, Tyra shared her first photo of York Banks Asla on Instagram. The tired looking mum (raising a baby, never easy) captioned the photo, which she shared on Valentine’s Day; “This is the Happiest Valentine’s Day of my life. York, Daddy @erikasla and I send you so much love.”
York Banks Asla arrived on this earth late Wednesday, January 27 2016. At the time, Tyra wrote.
“The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here. He’s got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik’s mouth and chin. As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone. York Banks Asla, welcome to the world.”
