Rapper DMX (real name Earl Simmons) was hospitalised on Monday after suffering an asthma attack in New York.
The rapper has a history with the condition, and apparently suffered an incident that led to him collapsing, whilst at the Ramada Yonkers in New York.
TMZ reports that he was outside his room when he started complaining of shortness of breath and chest pains, which led to his entourage scrambling around to look for his inhaler. However, they were unable to find it and the rapper collapsed.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he is currently being treated.
