Obinim is probably reaping all the publicity he hoped this stunt would bring him, as well as the gullible new followers that would also generate.
Obinim recently revealed to Ghanaians his ability to transform into animals like a snake, and bite people to death. Most people have condemned him for saying that, although most actually believe he can do it, just that it does not befit a ‘man of God’ to be doing that.
The British High Commissioner to Ghana, Jon Benjamin, has waded into the entire controversy. The famously verbose Commissioner, on twitter, questioned the ability of Obinim to transform into anything at all.
He wrote: “…does anyone actually believe this? Why doesn’t he do it live on TV to prove it to all of us?”
Yes indeed, why doesn’t he? He has his own Tv station, so it shouldn’t be too hard. But of course he cannot, he can only make assertions without proof, because he knows a large percentage of the populace would buy what he’s saying regardless.
Like this famous gospel singer.
While on the subject, does anyone actually believe this? Why doesn’t he do it live on TV to prove it to all of us? https://t.co/fyTWeuPP1H
