Meek Mill finally got some good news after the judge hearing his case for violating parole decided not to send the rapper to jail.
The rapper was handed a six to twelve month suspended jail sentence, which the judge would agree to write off if he goes under house arrest. He would first serve a 90 day sentence, after which the judge would decide how much more time under house arrest he would have to serve.
Also whilst under house arrest, he would not be allowed to work, meaning he cannot record new songs or anything all within that time. This would be a great time for Drake to release a new diss record!
He would also have to complete some community work during that time.
Meek Mill got in trouble after violating the terms of his parole stemming from his 2009 conviction on a gun charge, by leaving Philadelphia to attend the American Music Awards in Los Angeles last November. Seems he’s slated to get some quality time with Nicki Minaj over the next twelve months.
