Kwadwo Asamoah has had a rotten past two years, which continues as he picks up another injury merely weeks after getting back to full fitness.
With the kind of news we’re hearing of these days, one has to wonder- who is doing him? (literal translation)
He has played only three league games for his club Juventus this season, battling with injury after injury. His latest one occurred in the club’s 3-0 win over Internazionale in the Coppa Italia on Wednesday, when he bagged an assist.
After examination, club doctors have determined that he would be out for around three weeks.
“Kwadwo Asamoah and Mario Mandzukic both underwent medical checks today after reporting injuries during Wednesday’s Coppa Italia triumph over Inter at Juventus Stadium,” the club announced on their official website.
“The Ghanaian midfielder has suffered a torn biceps femoris in his right thigh and is expected to be sidelined for two to three weeks.”
His first major injury that started this cycle was in November 2014, which lasted till May 2015, when he picked another injury which lasted till October, then another in November, then this one.
Hope he returns and stays fit this time- our Black Stars needs our most skillful player.
