Ghana winger Christian Atsu executed quite the swerve on Monday, when his reported move to Levante somehow ended him up at Malaga instead.
It had been all but done for Atsu on Sunday, when he confirmed the move, but Malaga ended up winning the race for his services.
Atsu joins the side on loan until the end of the season, the website of his parent club Chelsea, announced.
This would be Atsu’s third loan spell since joining Chelsea, with previous unsuccessful stints at Everton, and Bournemouth- where he spent more time on the treatment table than on the training pitch.
He would be hoping to get much more game time in Spain than he has since moving to England.
