VIDEO: Nick Cannon Is Not Onboard With Oscar Discrimination Cries: Outlines More Important Problems Facing The Black Community

The outrage over the lack of black actors/actresses in the nominations list for this year’s Academy Awards has sparked a whole lot of outrage from that community.
One person not on board though, is Nick Cannon. Cannon released a spoken word poem on his social media account, taking a very different angle to the entire controversy.
Cannon’s entire perspective was that there are bigger issues for the black community to focus on, including police brutality, disproportionate incarceration of their brothers and sisters, and many others. He also added that there is no point to seek validation from the hands of the white man.
