Mostly, I wonder how dispatch riders are able to sail through chaotic traffic with high speed in Ghana—and find their job very dangerous.
But since they are needed, someone must do the job. However, there must be some level of caution and protection that should be in place to safeguard their lives in case there is an accident.
In the video below which shows a dispatch rider crashing to his death at Burma Camp in Ghana yesterday during the handing over ceremony of the Chief of Defence Staff, it’s obvious certain protective gears capable of saving the life of this ride who was not really running on a top speed were missing.
As Musician/Comedian A-Plus wrote on his facebook wall;
“This happened yesterday at Burma camp during the handing over ceremony of the Chief of Defence Staff. Dispatch riders should not continue to die like this. It’s high time the police and military are equipped with some of the latest Personal protective garments. There are even airbags that can be worn to avoid such deaths. Let’s look into it.

SAD!
Ghanaians are fond of extravagant ceremonies. Its an effing chief of defence not the bloody president. Did they really need all of it
Oh noo, this is sad…May God receive His Soul in Peace
MAY HE REST IN PIECES
this will teach them to keep ceremonies as simple as possible
