Already I can see the state prosecutors messing this case up, even without any need for the defence to get into their ‘clever’ dildo strategy.
The ‘Ekiki Me’ singer shocked his fans during this year’s Decemba 2 Rememba concert, removing his tiny manhood on stage for the entire universe to take a look at.
Earlier today, during his reappearance in court, the trial judge adjourned the case to January 25, after the state failed to provide witnesses to commence making their case.
Judge Abena Oppong Doku adjourned for 10 days to give the prosecution time to prepare.
After Wisa’s unfortunate act on stage, calls for his arrest were made, from both the public and show organisers. In response, the Ghana Police Service invited the young artist for a chat, charging him with gross indecent exposure.
On his first appearance in court, took an unexpected turn when the he pleaded not guilty to the charge of indecent exposure.
This was because in the aftermath of the event, he had gone about apologising to all and sundry for his conduct, blaming it in the heat of the moment.
He issued a letter of apology saying, in part…
“In the early hours of Friday, December 25, I performed at the December 2 Remember Concert… I did something disappointing. I showed my genitals while performing.
“I cannot explain this rash and irresponsible behaviour, but I have been trained to acknowledge my fault and be responsible for my actions.
“I have disappointed myself, my family, my hard-working management team, Citi FM and the audience, who paid hard-earned money to be entertained but instead went away feeling anything but entertained.”
Yet in court, his explanation per his lawyer was that he did not show his p*nis on stage, but it was rather a dildo- a fact they are prepared to prove in court.
They might not even get the chance, with the rate the prosecution have started.
