For all special moments the late star David Bowie gave his fans, his best act might still be yet to come.
Because if some distraught fans have their way, the Lord should release Bowie from his clutches and send him back to earth.
This is contained in a petition started by one Italian fan, Andrea Natella, who is petitioning the good God to bring back the enigmatic singer.
Titled ‘David Bowie cannot be dead!’ the succinct petition reads:
‘Letter to God or whom it may concern
‘Say NO to David Bowie dead.’
Natella’s petition has at the moment almost 6,000 signatories; ranging from countries as varied the United Arab Emirates, the UK, and Poland.

The iconic British singer, songwriter and occasional actor, David Bowie, unfortunately passed away over the weekend, aged 69.
Bowie, who had been battling cancer for the past year and a half, unfortunately succumbed to his ailment. The news was confirmed by a post on his official Facebook page.
“David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer.” The post read.
“While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family’s privacy during their time of grief.”
His death has mostly shocked the world, with tributes pouring in from all sections. A tribute concert to be held in his honour at New York’s famed Carnegie Hall incredibly sold out within an hour of tickets going on sale.
