Imagine how you would feel as a passenger if power went off at an airport where you are waiting to check-in —and not just once but three times within a short space of time.
A GhanaCelebrities.Com reader wrote in to share her experience at Kotoka International Airport last night with us—saying, it was shocking and at the time embarrassing.
Apparently, around 8pm last night, the whole Airport had a blackout (perhaps, the usual Dumsor) and this repeated itself a few minutes later—and then there was a third blackout.
It’s unbelievable that such blackouts happen at our only international Airport.
And interestingly, during our cross-checking on what the reader told us, we came across two tweets from actress-Ama K. Abebrese, confirming this.
She wrote;
I’m at Kotoko Airport and the lights just went off. Everyone just went Oooh. It came back on though after a minute. Hmm.

A few minutes later, she tweeted again;
Ohh and it just went off again. Ohh why. Dumsor at their airport. Ok, it back on. Ohh Ghana. pic.twitter.com/Eycc38CMEy
