Shatta Wale, king of the Shatta Movement, fell out with his longtime manager Bulldog last year, but that couldn’t dampen what was a magnificent year for him.
The Dancehall king played numerous concerts and shows, and released numerous tracks as well, opening up unlimited streams of revenue to him.
Taking stock, the singer believes he made well over Ghc 3m in 2015.
He revealed all that during an appearance with Dr Pounds on the Hitz Gallery.
“God has been good to me in 2015, I made lots of money, can’t really count but I made over 30 billion old Ghana cedis” he said, ever so humbly.
He also added that he released about 95 songs throughout the calendar year. That’s a crazy return rate of about a song every four days- which is frankly insane.
