‘Give and it shall be given back unto you.’
Popular American comedian and television host, Ellen Lee DeGeneres will be honored with the Favorite Humanitarian award on Wednesday, reports indicate. 
The 57-year old is being recognized for her generosity shown to the poor and marginalized individuals in the society.
DeGeneres joked in a statement that the honor “sums me up perfectly as I a both a human and an itarian.”
“The award comes with a $200,000 donation from Walgreen’s, which DeGeneres is giving to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital,” according to producers of the prestigious award.
The organizers informed the star comedian on her inclusion for the upcoming award on Monday.
Ellen may also be a double winner that night because she’s nominated, as well, for Favorite Talk Show host.
