Legendary highlife musician Amakye Dede was in uncontrollable tears after he was informed of the sad passing of his manager, Isaac Yeboah.
Yeboah died on the spot during the accident that grievously wounded the music star and which has seen him bedridden since Saturday.
Doctors at Korle-Bu had held off informing Dede of his manager’s condition because his condition was delicate, and careful measures were taken to shield him from the devastating news.
However, relatives decided to break the news to him during the day on Monday, due to his perceived improved condition- and that is when he is reported to have completely broken down.
The accident, which occurred near Bonsu junction, saw a wayward vehicle ramming into Amakye’s car whilst he was changing inside. His manager and bodyguard were both standing outside, and the bodyguard sustained severe injuries whilst Yeboah unfortunately died on the spot.
Isaac Yeboah has been the Editor for Ghana’s popular newspaper-P&P for many years—and he was a regular contributor to several entertainment radio shows in Ghana, including Peace Fm’s Entertainment Review.
