I hate it when preachers prophesy, especially T.B Joshua. Mainly because they say some vague stuff, and then also say that prayer can avert it. So if two years later something similar happens, they can claim that was their prophecy; if nothing happened, prayer probably averted it.
That is a foolproof plan, and should never earn anyone plaudits. But that’s exactly what it does.
Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah, founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry, has laid out a set of doomsday prophecies for Ghana this year. In an interview with Adom Fm, the preacher said this country is in for some tough times in this election year.
“I saw a very large dragon with three heads, it also had heads at its tail, then I saw the dragon touching its neck with its tail, and blood was oozing from the neck…and God explained to me that that was a sign of coup coming to Ghana in the course of the year 2016…,” he said on Adom FM’s Evening News on Saturday.
I think this guy was reading Revelations when he fell asleep, but he seemed convinced it was a prophecy. He said this government would intentionally raise havoc in the country, to cause them to have cause to postpone the date of the elections, since they know they would lose if it goes ahead. The plan would be to unconstitutionally hold on to power for as long as possible.
“Ghana’s election date is also likely to be postponed as well to give time for the government to stay in power…so Ghanaians must pray against this”.
He added that the NDC’s desperation would leave the country engulfed in violence in the run-up to November, but Ghanaians should, once again, pray against it.
“There would be fire and brimstone in the run up to the 2016 elections, but we can pray to avert it and cease it from happening entirely, God would do it,”
So in the likely event of violence, he was right. If nothing happens, God did it.See what I’m saying?
The postponing the elections stuff I figure as bullsh*t. Now if that were to happen, I would be a little interested.
