2016 is off to a bad note in the industry as Nigerian singer Olamide and ace producer Don Jazzy engage in a fight at the just ended Headies 2015 awards.
It all started when Olamide’s protege Lil Kesh lost the Next Rated award to Reekado Banks, who is signed to Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records.
Apparently Olamide was furious with the lost, so he unleashed his thoughts – throwing tantrums and major shade at Don Jazzy and the Mavin crew when he hit the stage with his team.
“This award belongs to Lil Kesh. Lil Kesh is our own Next Rated artist. F**k that shit! The streets ti take over. Every f**king single was a hit back to back. From lyrically to Shoki to Efejoku. Ko ni dafun Iya anybody,” he fumed.
Don Jazzy replied him when he took to the stage for his Lifetime Achievement award. He said, “Egbon Olamide, if you want the car, come and take it.” (Next Rated win comes with a car)”.

After the awards, Olamide took to Twitter to again blast Don Jazzy.
