The case of the ‘Ekiki Me’ hitmaker Wisa took an unexpected turn in court on Wednesday when the artiste pleaded not guilty to the charge of indecent exposure.
Not only that, his explanation per his lawyer was that he did not show his p*nis on stage, but it was rather a dildo- a fact they are prepared to prove in court.
He was granted bail in the sum of Ghc 80,000 to reappear in court on January 13.
Wisa shocked the entire country when he pulled out his dingdong on stage whilst performing at this year’s Decemba 2 Rememba concert. He apologised in the aftermath of that act, after receiving universal condemnation.
His apology statement in part, read:
“In the early hours of Friday, December 25, I performed at the December 2 Remember Concert… I did something disappointing. I showed my genitals while performing.
“I cannot explain this rash and irresponsible behaviour, but I have been trained to acknowledge my fault and be responsible for my actions.
“I have disappointed myself, my family, my hard-working management team, Citi FM and the audience, who paid hard-earned money to be entertained but instead went away feeling anything but entertained.
“Most importantly, I disappointed my God. I am exceedingly sorry for what I have done.”
So, good luck spinning that dildo story.
