Whatever inspired Wisa to take that crazy chance on December 24, it is certainly paying off, as he has dominated the media landscape since.
The Ekiki Me singer got crazy at this year’s Decemba 2 Rememba concert, whipping out his ding dong on stage to the horrified crowd.
He has since apologised, whilst the police continue to look into the case.
Appearing on TV3’s New Day on Monday, the artiste, born Eugene Ashie, debunked one popular theory as to why he did what he did. He told the show hosts that he was as sober as a kite when getting on that stage last Thursday, adding that he even prayed to God before getting on the stage.
Asked what motivated him then, he said: “I think it was too much of excitement.”
He also added that he is genuinely remorseful, calling on Ghanaians to give him another chance.
“I want people to give me another chance…so I can prove myself”
He denied that the entire episode was a publicity stunt.
