The Judicial Council on Monday announced the dismissal of twenty of the magistrates and circuit court judges who were implicated in the judicial corruption scandal revealed by Ghanaian investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
The decision was taken after the work of a committee established by the Chief Justice to investigate the scandal.
Twenty of the twenty two judges were dismissed, one reprimanded, whilst one other was exonerated.
Below is the list of judges suspended. The names of two were not released because they have not been officially informed yet.

8. His Worship Samuel Ahiabor – District Court, Adidome
9. His Worship William Baffoe – District Court , Cape Coast
10. His Worship Michael Boamah Gyamfi – District Court, Mampongteng
11. His Worship Jacob Amponsah – District Court, Ejisu
12. His Worship Frank Kingley Oppong – District Court, Kasoa
13. His Worship Samuel Esselwalker – District Court, Bolgatanga
14. His Worship Alfred K. A Mensah – District Court, Somanya
