On Saturday-December 5, star-actress Jackie Appiah turned 32 and to celebrate her birthday—the mother of one reached out to two orphanages in Accra to share the day with various orphans.
For this, Jackie Appiah brought together kids from the Osu Children’s home and the Teshie Children’s home.
Apart from throwing an exciting party for the children, the star actress on behalf of the Jackie Appiah Foundation donated bags of rice, drinks, toiletries, books and other educational materials to the orphanages which host the wonderful kids.
Jackie Appiah at the event said; “Dec 5 happens to be my birthday and I am extremely grateful to God for the gift of life. I will also like to appreciate my family and friends for their support and prayers which have kept me going all these years. May God bless you all.
This year, like all previous ones, I chose to celebrate my birthday with the less privilege in society instead of having a private party in the comfort of my home.
In the past, I have spent this special day with kids at various hospitals and orphanages.
This year, my management team and I decided to bring together over 60 kids from the Teshie and Osu orphanages here to celebrate the birthday with them.
We also have children from Morning Star where my lovely son attends school. Indeed, the children from Morning Star are here to interact and fraternize with their less privileged friends from the orphanages.
On behalf of the Jackie Appiah Foundation I will also like to present a few items to our friends. The items include books and other educational materials, bags of rice, drinks and toiletries.”
What Jackie Appiah does is amazing—and the consistency shows her true commitment.
