The father of the Dancehall king, Charles Akramah Mensah, has ascended to a position which contains an actual stool, not the imaginary one of his son.
Mr Mensah has been enstooled as the chief of Ngleshie Amanfro under the stool name; Nii Akramah Nyonmo Bei II.
After the death of a previous chief, there was a false claimant who attempted to forcibly ascend, but he was thrown out and Nii Nyonmo Bei II installed.
Ngleshi Amanfro is in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra region, and contains Gas who were resettled from James Town (the heart of British Accra) in the 1970’s.
Shatta Wale congratulated his dad on his new position, writing on Facebook:
