Ghanaian soul musician, Sherifa Gunu has regretted penning her signature to telecommunication company-Glo’s contract as a brand ambassador.

The energetic musician has mentioned that the deal turned out to be a huge blow to her brand as the contract prohibited her from performing at events organized by rival companies.

She admitted that the monetary compensation was appreciable but her music career went in danger.

After seeing it all, Sherifa has advised her fellow musicians to be careful when dealing with any entity.

“GLO contract killed my music career since I was unable to perform for other telcos who wanted me to be part of their billed artistes during an event.

“Even though the money involved in my contract with GLO was satisfactory, I will appeal to my colleague musicians to be vigilant when signing contracts with any Telecos in the country,” she told Afia Schwarzeneggar on Aben Wo Ha on Kasapa 102.3FM.
