The Foreign Policy Magazine has released their annual list of the 100 global thinkers.
The list, a diverse group of people across the globe separated into their area of expertise- features Ghana’s Investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
Anas has gained notoriety through his work, often targeting the most difficult subjects in society, and then going undercover to peel back the layers of corruption surrounding it.
He hit international headlines again after his latest expose, revealing the extent of the rot in Ghana’s judicial service. The fallout from that is still ongoing.
The list features global leaders like Pope Francis and German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Foreign Policy magazine divided the nominees into categories based on their work- such as Decision-makers, Advocates, Stewards, Chroniclers, Artists, Healers, etc
