Following Vicky Zugah’s near-fatal accident in July this year, the actress has said she is yet to forgive the ‘runaway driver’ who nearly killed her when returning from a movie set.
She said she felt bad for not citing her eye on the driver—let alone a consolatory message from him.
“No, I have not been able to forgive the driver who did that to me and I don’t know how long it will take for me to forgive him, all that I want is to see the man who did that and could not stand to even make sure I was okay,” she told Delay on the Delay show on viasat 1.
According to her, she wanted the driver to feel her pain—in order not to repeat the same mistake in future.
Answering whether she has an ‘unforgiving spirit’, Vicky said: “I do not have an unforgiving spirit. I only think sometimes, people need to feel bad for doing bad and I believe when they feel the pain, it will deter them from doing it to someone else or to repeat such acts.”
Vicky, who was admitted at the Lapaz Community Clinic, was later referred to the 37 Military Hospital for an eye treatment after the terrible incident.
Considering her expressions, that day may be one of the days she would never forget in her life.
