Supt Kofi Sarpong has stressed that he will not hesitate arresting musicians caught smoking weed.
In an interview with Kwame Dadzie on Care TV’s Gospel Countdown, the ‘Ayeyi Dwom’ hitmaker, who is also a police officer, was quizzed what he would do if he found his fellow musicians smoking weed at an event backstage.
“There are laws in this country and aside the fact that I am a musician, I am a policeman. I need to help enforce the laws of the country,” he told the host.
He continued: “So, if I encounter such situation, I would arrest the person. Honestly, I will, And I even don’t think any artiste be it secular or gospel would even try to smoke an illegal substance in my presence”
