Veteran journalist and founder of the Insight Newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr is of the view that ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw must unveil his face to judges involved in the much-publicized judicial bribery scandal.
Speaking at a seminar organised by the Department of Languages and Liberal Studies of the Tamale Polytechnic in Tamale in the Northern Region, Mr. Pratt said even though he commends Anas for exposing the corrupt judges, he believes the judges also have the right to see his face.
“The people he is accusing of taking bribes have the right to know who he is. The people he accused must see his face to test his own integrity,” he said.
“We can salute Anas for opening our eyes, we can salute Anas for exposing corruption in our society and so on, however, we must also insist that those who were accused be allowed to also exercise their rights otherwise we are going to build a jungle society,” he added
Kwesi Pratt also slammed the methods used by the Tiger Eye PI CEO to expose corruption. According to him, what Mr Aremeyaw is doing is not journalism.
“What Anas Aremeyaw Anas is doing is not journalism at all, it is something else,” he said. “You cannot present yourself as who you are not in order to obtain information”
