A few weeks ago, Nikki Samonas made headlines after saying she cannot date a poor man– declaring she needed a rich man to take care of her since she has suffered enough to get to where she is.

I do not know who got on her neck for that, but she tried walking back those comments in another interview. She tried anyway, but the end result was the same.

“Dr. Who, let me please ask you a question…Do you aspire to be poor?” she asked the showbiz review host.

“Yes, the way everybody want to make it big in life that’s the same way I want to also have a hard working man who can help me give my kids a bright future.

”There is no way I said I wouldn’t want to marry a poor man. I never mentioned a poor man. What I said was I want a hard working man”.

Yet this is what she said two weeks ago.

“Someone should also take care of me so for me if you don’t have, money or are not financially independent; I cannot date you. It’s as simple as that.

“I have no problem with the poor neither am I saying I want someone who is extremely rich. No, all I am saying is; as a man, you should be okay in your pocket to help provide some of my need,” she added.

And there’s nothing wrong with that- anyone who disagrees is entitled to their opinion. I find it funny that she tried to do damage control when there probably wasn’t any damage in the first place, and her remarks this time around were not much of a clarification.
