The General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Church Ghana, Rev. Dr. Paul Frimpong-Manso has urge Ghanaian Pastors to stop fighting and looking for earthly titles.
Rev. Dr. Paul Frimpong-Manso speaking at news conference at Ashiaman in Accra bemoaned on how some pastors waste time in looking for titles whilst they leave behind what they’ve been called to do as men of God.
“We are fighting and looking for titles, unnecessary degrees and we have left the job undone. Somebody sits in a church of 200 members; he has got no branch, yet calls himself a bishop. Another gets a small church and he calls it a cathedral,” he stated.
He lamented on the state of which salvation messages are no longer preached at most of the churches.
“Some pastors’ stand on the pulpit and instead of talking about eternal life messages that can bring hope and life, they go to give motivational messages.”
According to him, political parties in the country cannot offer any positive things in the life of Ghanaians–and therefore encouraged Ghanaians to put their trust in God instead of political parties.
“We must stand up and tell the world that NDC, NPP, CPP; no politician can change the destiny of our nation. They will make things worse.”
