Dumsor To End Before The 2016 Elections- President Mahama

President Mahama

Houston, we have a new deadline. Houston, we have a new deadline.

The dumsor that is plaguing this country just refuses to go away. And despite lip service from government, and a solemn pledge to end it before the end of this year- it seems we might have to endure it just for a while longer.

Speaking in Tamale on his current campaign tour, the President noted that the current energy crisis plaguing the country would definitely be solved before next year’s elections.

Dumsor will end before 2016 elections,” Mr Mahama told the gathering of party faithful in the Northern Regional capital.

The President said, ‘God forbid’ that the crisis would last into the elections for it to become a campaign issue for the opposition NPP.

As to the status of Dr Kwabena Donkor, the power minister who vowed to resign if the problem persists beyond this year- on that issue the President was conveniently silent.
