The cool, cocky, and suave Idris Elba- a perfect Bond if you ask me- has been tipped nonstop as a perfect catch to take over the role of the super secret agent 007.

Although there are no official plans to make Elba the first black Bond, those stories just do not go away.

But the actor himself has made it quite clear that his priorities lie elsewhere. So to those who refuse to listen, Elba is not the next Bond.

Whilst disembarking from a flight at the Los Angeles International Airport, he told TMZ that he has no plans to take on the role.

According to the site, he emphasised his point by repeating it after saying it the first time- shutting firmly the dreams of countless worldwide.

The name is not Bond, its Elba.
