After ‘Hello’- Adele Eyeing Appearance In Upcoming ‘Jon Snow’ Movie

Adele’s ‘Hello’ is not just making waves as a great track- the video is also drawing rave reviews, with particular praise of Adele’s performance.

And the singer is revelling in all that praise- even revealing she is considering her big screen debut!

Adele sang the theme song for the 2012 Bond movie ‘Skyfall’, and even won an Oscar for that. That is the extent of her relationship with the movie industry- although if she has her way she would aim for an acting award.

“I’m sure I’ll get some flak for this but I actually would like to act,” Adele said on KISS FM in her native England, a week after the “Hello” video was released.

The movie the British singer is looking at is ‘The Death And Life Of John F. Donovan’, which stars Game of Thrones’ Kit Harrington. Xavier Dolan, who directed ‘Hello’ for Adele, is also the director for the movie- about an American movie star who had an 11-year-old pen pal, also an actor.

Adele told the station that she would definitely work with Dolan again.

“I would be in a film for him, definitely,” she said.

Deadline reports that the singer is in talks to have a role in the movie, possibly a cameo.

“It is a movie about a man trying to make it, trying to live his dream and his life all at once, and being told that he basically can’t,” director Dolan revealed in a statement.

“It also is about a kid dreaming of having this man’s life for all the wrong reasons, not realizing how painful it actually is. I was that kid, writing love letters to actors—as a matter of fact it seems like I still am. And that story is a tribute to both the kid I was and the idols of my childhood—some died, some just disappeared without a trace, because they didn’t fit.”

The movie, also written and produced by Dolan- stars beside Harrington, Jessica Chastain as a gossip magazine editor, Kathy Bates and Susan Sarandon.
