Shatta Wale in recent times is pushing the ‘I’m a Christian’ narrative very hard. I have no idea if it is connected in any way to his recent spat with Bulldog.
He recently caused consternation when he declared that he would kill his son if God asks him to (why is he still allowed to keep that child?); and his latest proclamation is that he believes he can heal the sick by laying his hands on them.
The artiste was speaking on Ultimate FM’s E-Review program.
“I believe I can lay my hands on a sick person and make him/her strong,” he told host Naa Klordey Odonkor.
The singer also said that if God asks him to do his work, he wouldn’t hesitate for a second to become a pastor.
“If the Lord asks me to put down my musical tools to preach his word, there will not be turning back,” he said.
‘The only person who inspires me spiritually is God, I wouldn’t turn my back on God when he calls me to do his work. I will gladly do so, if he tells me to preach to his people I will do so.
“I say things today and they happen tomorrow,’ he added, indicating he was some sort of seer as well.
With all these powers, why hasn’t he joined the Ofori Amponsah’s and the Lord Kenya’s of this world?
