Andre Dede Ayew The Only Ghanaian To Make 10 Man Shortlist For CAF Player Of The Year 2015

Dede Ayew’s great year is being recognised, after the Ghana International earned a spot on the 10 man shortlist for the 2015 Confederation of African Football (CAF) player of the year for 2015.

Ayew has already made the preliminary shortlist for World Player of the Year, as well as picked up awards in England since his summer move to Welsh outfit Swansea City.

CAF’s list, which was released on November 2; features the winner for the past four years Yaya Toure, and Borussia Dortmund’s Gabonese forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang- as headliners.

Cote d’Ivoire and Algeria both have two players on the list, which is the most for any single nation.

The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, 7 January 2016 in Abuja, Nigeria.
