The highly anticipated and much-publicized launch of Supt. Kofi Sarpong’s third album ‘I Believe’ was held Sunday afternoon (November 1) at the Liberty Assemblies of God church in Abeka Lapaz, Accra.
As expected, the event drew a star-studded crowd, and that includes Kwaw Kese, Dr. Cryme, Gifty Osei, Emelia Arthur, Joyce Blessing, Ceccy Twum, Ohemaa Mercy, Nicholas Omane Acheampong, Willie & Mike, Samuel Amo Tobin (Tobinco) and NPP’s Sammy Awuku, Tsatsu Tsikata, Mark Okraku Mantey & more.
Like many other Ghanaian events, ‘I Believe’ album launch failed to start on time. Scheduled to start 2pm, the event shockingly kicked off around 4 pm, much to the disappointment of many who were seated and anxiously waiting.
