Kofi Nti Denies Giving Out Lyrics of Andy’s ‘Alewa’ Song to Ofori Amponsah

After the release of Ofori Amponsah’s ‘Alewa’ track, runner up of TV3 Mentor 1, Andy, came out to state that Ofori’s song belonged to him. The person who masterminded this thievery, according to Andy, was Highlife singer – Kofi Nti – of Rakia fame.

Conversely, Kofi Nti has denied ever giving out Andy’s lyrics to Ofori Amponsah. Responding to the allegation on Atinka FM, Kofi Nti said Andy sent the song to his (Kofi Nti) manager to listen because he (Andy) wanted to feature him (Kofi Nti) on the song.

He further explained his manager was the one who listened to the song and advised Andy to edit some parts because the lyrics were not too good.

According to Kofi Nti, if he had wanted to give out the song to anybody, it would have been his godfather, Daddy Lumba, not Ofori Amposah.

He said there’s no truth in the allegation leveled against him because Andy claimed he sent the song to him via Whatsapp, meanwhile he (Kofi Nti) doesn’t have Whatsapp application on his phone.
