One of Ghana’s ever present stars, Kwadwo Asamoah- has been dealing with injuries since last year that has severely limited his game time for both the Black Stars and his club side Juventus.

Asamoah injured his knee in December last year, and since then has suffered two setbacks whenever he seemed to be on the road to recovery.

His return to competitive action for Juventus the past couple of weeks seemed to have put the horrific time behind him, but after appearing at the weekend against Atlanta, Kwadwo seems to have picked up a separate knock.

The Italian club has announced Kwadwo would be out for twenty days after suffering a muscular problem, with testing showing a a second-degree injury to the semi-membranosus muscle.

This rules him out of Ghana’s world cup qualifying game against Comoros Islands early next month.
