The celebs are lining behind the presumptive Democratic nominee for President, Hilary Rodham Clinton; as the campaign season moves into full throttle.
Pop icon Katy Perry was on hand to support the Clinton campaign during a stop in Iowa on Saturday. The musician posted several photos on Hilary’s Instagram page, showing her engaged in several activities with the campaign.
“You have so much power and this is one of the most important elections in over a decade. So much change can happen.” Perry told the cheering crowd.
“I stand and I march with Hillary. I believe in her future, her vision. I believe in her policies. I believe in equal rights for men, women, pay…Thank you for having me, she’s my firework.”
Perry then proceeded to perform two fan favourites- ‘Roar’ and ‘Firework’.
Celebs supporting the Clinton campaign so far includes Bryan Cranston, Ben Affleck, Leonardo Di Caprio; and Kanye West.
