Recently GhanaCelebrities.Com editor Chris-Vincent Febiri, wrote a feature on the mental subjugation of the African in giving more prominence to supposed white weddings rather than our own traditional ceremonies.
Amazingly, it hasn’t taken too long for a supposed pastor to give credence to the fact that we’re seriously losing grips with our roots.
A Nigerian Preacher, Sarah Omakwu, took twitter by storm yesterday when she tweeted a litany of supposed s*xual perversions. Whilst she listed a lot of things, she began with a real zinger.
According to her, every couple who get married under the traditional setting, without blessing in the sight of the Lord, sin whenever they engage in intercourse. As far as she’s concerned, a Christian is not legally married until a pastor blesses it.
The Preacher, who is the Senior Pastor at Family Worship Centre, Abuja, hasthtagged her posts #s*xualpervesion and proceeded to practically condemn everyone alive today for not living up to biblical standards.
The litany of things she condemned as unbiblical and thus worthy to be labelled as sin ranged from pre-marital s*x to phone s*x, and oral s*x.
However, she wasn’t finished. According to her, widows, widowers, and divorcees cannot engage in any form of s*x. And of course, no Christian s*x rant would be complete against one against homos*xuality.
Really, it has to be seen to be believed. The Christian cults fear of s*x in a legendary one, that has led to more problems than it has ever solved. People are people, and the urge for s*x is strong; attempts to curtail it almost always ends in hypocritical failings, and massive amounts of guilt.
She has since taken down the tweets, saying they were sent without her approval; although she maintains she stands by its message, because it was taken from a sermon of hers.

She clearly does not read the bible, people in the bible got married traditionally outside the church because there was no church and was recognised by God because the father had blessed it and the bride price was paid. Thats marriage.
