Ghanaian Gospel musician Joyce Blessing, who has carved a niche for herself in the music industry, says Jesus Christ was a fashionista—so there’s nothing wrong for a Christian to raise the standard of their dressing.
According to her, being a Christian does not mean you shouldn’t dress nicely.
She believes that, dressing on point will even tell people how far Christ has bless or lifted you in your life.
“The man called Jesus Christ that we follow is someone with a fashion sense, I mean just take a look at how he created or molded human. You can tell He knows his left from his right so you need to package yourself well. Only then can you be taken serious.
“The fact that you preach Christ doesn’t mean you cannot look good. I mean if I come to your house to tell you about Christ and I’m dressed in tattered clothes, you might mistake me to be a fraudster or a beggar but if I’m dressed nicely, you will take me serious,” she said on the Delay’s Show on Viasat1.
Of course, that’s acceptable—but we won’t have any problem if you dress in a manner that stylishly brings glory to Him.
Being a Christ-centered fashionista is what your followers demand and not the vice-versa.
But…Jesus Christ was sent to deliver people who was lost…He didn’t create human beings, someone should tell Joyce Blessing to take note.
I never take these so called gospel artist serious
