Amy Schumer To Star In Upcoming Fox Comedy Series

Comedienne and creator of ‘Inside Amy Schumer’, Amy Schumer is set for a move to network television; with an upcoming starring role in a Fox comedy series.

The Mother-Daughter comedy, as at now still untitled by Fox; would star the rapidly rising Schumer in the daughter role. Show runners are now searching for the perfect comic actress to play the mother role.

According to Deadline, the show would be penned by Katie Dippold, whose creation is inspired by her relationship with her own mother. Dippold would also executive-produce, whilst Jonathan Levine would direct.

Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping are producing through Chernin Entertainment, and Paul Feig and Jessie Henderson are producing through Feigco Entertainment. Amy Schumer and Kimberly Caramele are also executive-producers, whilst providing additional script work.
