The former President has fully thrown his weight behind his daughter’s parliamentary bid after he joined a public rally organised by Dr Ezenator Rawlings’ campaign team.

President Rawlings had already made his stance for his daughter clear enough, and showed he’s ready for the fight ahead when he spoke at the health and fitness walk held by her in the Klottey Korle constituency earlier on Sunday.

Dr Ezenator Rawlings is contesting to be named the nominee of the NDC in the constituency (encompassing Osu and its environs), to contest next year’s elections for a seat in Parliament.

She has an incumbent MP, Nii Armah Ashitey, and two others to beat if her plan is to come to fruition.

The NDC Parliamentary primaries are set to be held on November 7, 2015.
