The Black Stars would be in action in a friendly international against Canada in the United States on Tuesday, and coach Grant has named his squad for the game.
The game is set to come off at the RFK stadium in Washington DC, and would serve as preparation for the next round of African/World cup qualifiers in November.
Goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey was expected to make a return to the team, but misses out. Skipper Asamoah Gyan and his vice Andre all miss the game, as Grant gives the chance to tons of outsiders to stake their claim for a national team berth.
Four players are getting their debut call-up, including former Asante Kotoko defender Gideon Baah, Lloyd Sam, Kwadwo Poku, and Philip Ofosu Ayeh.
