GHONE which was owned by Charter House has been taken over by Bola Ray and Kwabena Duffour’s EIB Networking—snatching the fast growing TV station from the chief rivals of Ghana’s self acclaimed dancehall King Shatta Wale
The takeover comes into “effect November 1, 2015, making GHOne an official addition to a group that owns other properties in radio, print and online’, reports EnewsGh.Com.
The Shatta Wale party and excitement come in because one of Shatta Wale’s key problems with Charter House is the fact that the Event Company somehow banned the showing of his songs on GHONE—and now that GHONE is going to a different hand, he can smile and wait for the plays to kick in.
According to the report, a re-branding of GHONE will take off soon…
