Beyonce, Jay-Z, Kanye West- And Others Suing French Company For Using Their Images Without Permission

Companies sometimes get sued by a group of people who have a common complaint- but it’s not every day that the plaintiffs are five music icons with unlimited pockets and probably killer legal teams.

The list of musicians suing ElevenParis read like a collaboration that everyone would like to see on one song, not behind the witness box.

Beyonce, Jay_Z, Kanye West, Pharrell, and Rihanna, are jointly suing French company ElevenParis for using their likeness on their products without permission.

In the suit, filed in New York Federal Court, the artists accused ElevenParis and its affiliates of being “habitual, willful intellectual property infringers that, without authorization, usurp the trademarks, copyrights and other rights of A-list celebrities.”

The products the company brands without authorisation include shirts, hats, backpacks, mobile phone cases and other items.

The company, headquatered in the French capital, say they have been negotiating with the celebrities to “find a fair and balanced agreement with them and their advisers,”
