Ghanaian movie producer and director Socrate Sarfo, known as the man who courts controversy with his movies and his opinions, has weighed in on the Nana Aba Anamoah trending scandal.
And he has joined the chorus of those who think she was somehow wronged and therefore has to jump ship from TV3. However, Socrates also added that Nana Aba returns to TV3, she would lose any respect he holds for her as a professional.
“Nana Aba should resign and never look back because she will easily get another job. Which station will not be happy to work with her?” Sarfo said in Accra on Monday.
Elaborating further, he entirely disagreed with the premise of this whole ‘bring back Nana Aba’ campaign that some celebrities has started. Sarfo says a return to TV3 would drain Nana Aba of all credibility, and she should rather take her talents to a new station.
“If she goes back to TV3 she will lose my respect” the producer concluded emphatically.
She needs to go back first, regain her credibility which for now has been somehow damaged, no matter how tou look at it and then after that she should leave them. For now I do not think any of the top media houses would want to hire an employee with somewhat bad press around her because it might negatively affect their brand.
