List Of Some The Dumbest Requests People Have Made On Airplanes: Read And Laugh

Flying has become part and parcel of human activity to the extent that it’s seamlessly integrated into most people’s lives.

However, getting into a huge metal tube to float around close to the speed of sound is anathema to everything the human brain knows about how homo sapiens are supposed to live. Probably why flying always seems to unscrew a few brain cells for some people.

Airline companies Jet2 and Cabincrew released a list of some of the dumbest questions people have asked them in-flight.The questions have ranged from a passenger who wanted the windows rolled down, to an old man who wanted prettier flight attendants.

For those of you who are regular fliers, who knows, you’ve probably asked one of these before.

• One passenger wanted the crew to tell the pilot to fly lower as his wife is scared of heights
• What’s in the ham and cheese sandwich?
• “I’ve forgotten something, can we turn around?”
• “Where’s the onboard cash machine?”
• “Why can’t you open the window and give us some air? It’s really stuffy in here.”
• “If the captain’s in the loo, who’s driving this thing?
• One passenger wanted the pilot to turn down the engine because the noise was giving him a headache.
• An elderly gentleman flying from Australia was disappointed that the flight attendants weren’t attractive and sexy enough. “They were much prettier in the adverts, so the flight has not lived up to my expectations,” he complained.
• “I was hoping to see the Grand Canyon but these clouds are in the way. Please can you ask the pilot to fly a bit lower?”
• “My children are getting bored and fidgety. Is there anyone in the cabin crew that can do magic tricks?”
• One customer coming into London was worried about Heathrow being so close to Windsor Castle. He asked if cabin crew could arrange for the planes not to fly over the castle in the future in case the Queen found it a nuisance.
• One stewardess heard: “Why am I getting such a poor mobile phone signal? This flight is going to be really long and I’ll be bored if I can’t use my smart phone.”
