Ghanaian highlife musician, Kaakyire Kwame Fosu popularly known as K.K Fosu claims 99% of Ghanaian musicians rely on marijuana to boost their confidence in their line of duty.
The musician asserted that even gospel musicians use the drug to enhance their performance.
“I’ve never set my eyes on cocaine before. Way back when you talk about marijuana, we are the artiste and so far as you are artistes, you want to pass in certain angles. Marijuana fine, everybody takes. I will say that 99% of Ghanaian musicians take use it but for cocaine I don’t know and I’ve never set my eyes on it before,” he disclosed an interview.
We are not gonna take him serious until he backs his claims with a solid proof.
Let’s also hope he won’t later come out to say he was ‘on heat’ like Blac Rasta.
K.K began his career by featuring on the works of established artistes Papa Shot, Mr. Borax, Obrafour, Nkasei, Deeba, Obuor, Reggie Rockstone and many others which were a good start for him.
His Manager Charles Lawson was right there to give him the needed push when he introduced him to Mr. Richard Holbrock of Lowdown Records who in turn produced his debut, Adwen.
He has 3 albums to his credit and he has featured on more than 30 songs. K.K Fosu’s 2007 album, ‘6 O’clock’ earned him several GMA nominations.
