The Black Stars have moved up to 25th in the world after the release of the latest rankings by world football governing body FIFA.
The Stars, 27th at the release of last month’s rankings, beat Rwanda 1-0 in an AFCON qualifier in Kigali within the past month.
Algeria lead the rankings for Africa, followed by AFCON Champions Cote d’Ivoire and Ghana in third.
Worldwide, Argentina leads the way, followed by German, Belgium, Portugal, and Colombia.
Tunisia and Senegal round out the top five in Africa.
