As if we weren’t Christian enough already, which I should add is doing virtually nothing to stop the hideous erosion of our moral fibre.
Actress Roselyn Ngissah thinks the solutions to the tons of problems we’re riddled with is for film makers to make more Christian movies.
She was recently part of the movie ‘The Wife’, and she thinks as a movie that teaches good Christian values and norms, more of those movies should be produced.
“I glad to be part of the shooting of the movie because it is a Christian movie which teaches Christian values and norms.” She said, on her role in ‘The Wife’
“It’s very difficult to see producers shoot educative Christian movies with didactic themes because they think such movies wouldn’t sell.
“Every producer wants to make profit so normally that’s why most producers shy away from shooting Christian movies. But I believe it has its market; so it’s one area I will urge producers to invest in,” Ngissah said.
This has left me wondering which people exorcise the witches in all those Kyeiwaa ‘beyifuo’ movies?
There has been a lot of Christian movies coming out of kumawood. I think good comedy sells a lot because the children like it and then maybe thought provoking drama for the adults. But the witchcraft movies really need to stop. It’s becoming annoying and cliché now.
